Plenty of Manchester United Fans Want John McGinn Bought From Aston Villa

John McGinn put in another virtuoso display for Aston Villa yesterday afternoon – and now there’s a lot of Manchester United fans who reckon he could be the answer to their midfield issues.

McGinn has become a fan favourite amongst Villa fans ever since joining from Hibs in the summer of 2018 for a fee in the region of £3 million, and is now an integral cog in the Villains’ midfield.

The 24-year-old’s goal in yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Burnley was his third of the season in all competitions – with his other two coming away from home against Spurs and Arsenal.

Whilst McGinn is enjoying a pretty fruitful campaign, the same can’t be said for United, who are languishing in 11th position in the Premier League after a pretty dreadful start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

McGinn has been linked with a £50 million move to United previously, by the Sun, and now it seems the idea of the Scotland international moving to Old Trafford is catching fire on social media:

Is McGinn the answer to United’s slow and lethargic mid-rift?
