The Croatian left-back has endured a frustrating spell at Ibrox so far, having failed to properly nail down a regular starting spot under Steven Gerrard, with the Gers boss seemingly unconvinced by the 26-year-old.
But Barisic – who is a regular starter for the Croatian national side – was given the nod for tonight’s Europa League group stage opener against the Dutch giants, and he finally showed exactly what he’s capable of.
