Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Delivers a Pretty Depressing Fitness Update Ahead of Arsenal Match

Manchester United fans will be pretty depressed hearing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s squad fitness update ahead of Monday’s showdown with Arsenal.

The Red Devils are really struggling after a poor start to the season which sees them currently a whopping 10 points behind bitter rivals Liverpool after just six league matches.

Moreover, United only just squeezed past League Two minnows Rochdale in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night after a dramatic penalty shootout, and any of the club’s supporters hoping for some reinforcements to be brought back into the team for Monday probably shouldn’t get their hopes up.

United have been without the likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw in recent weeks, but Solskjaer told his media conference this afternoon that any players retuning from injury probably won’t occur before Monday’s match:

If Arsenal were to beat United at Old Trafford, and deliver a third league defeat in seven matches, would Solskjaer be under serious threat of losing his job?
