Two Brilliant Fan Stories Sum Up Great Character of Late Fernando Ricksen

There have already been thousands of tributes paid to Fernando Ricksen following news of his death earlier today.

Rangers announced that their former Dutch midfielder had finally lost his battle with motor neurone disease.

And rightly Scottish football has united to pay tribute to Ricksen, who showed incredible courage to fight the illness over the past six years.

Among the great tributes are some wonderful stories about Ricksen.

These two stick out in particular, with fans sharing their experiences of meeting the former Rangers captain.
