A fan caught footage of Olivier Ntcham’s 35-yard wonder goal against Partick Thistle last night.

The French midfielder was in the Celtic team from the start for the visit of the Scottish Championship side in the Betfred Cup quarter-finals.

And he produced a great performance, scoring two in a 5-0 victory.

At the time of his first goal, Celtic were already leading thanks to strikes from Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Tom Rogic.

But Ntcham lit up the game in the 56th minute when he belted home this wonder goal.

And one fan was lucky enough to be filming when it left his boot and hit the net:

What a strike!

Ntcham added another goal before Scott Sinclair completed the scoring on 76 minutes.

And that put Celtic through to the semi-finals, where they’ll face Hibs at Hampden at the start of November.

Rangers and Hearts will play out the other Betfred Cup semi on the same weekend.
