Video: Watch John McGinn Continue Impressive Aston Villa Form with Goal at Arsenal

John McGinn continued his impressive form for Aston Villa this afternoon by scoring away from home against Arsenal.

The Scotland international has been one of the Villains’ stand-out players since being promoted to the top-flight this season, and it took the former Hibs and St Mirren midfielder just seven minutes to bag his second league goal of the campaign:

McGinn’s other goal this season also came in North London, across the road against Tottenham, but both games ended in defeat for the newly-promoted side, with Arsenal eventually overpowering Villa 3-2.

Strongly-linked with a move to boyhood club Celtic before moving to the Midlands, McGinn’s excellent displays in the English top-flight hasn’t gone unnoticed in recent months, with the Sun claiming Man Utd are keen on signing him for £50 million.

If he could add a few more goals like this to his game, could he really be a regular first-team player for a top-six side?
