Video: Liverpool Fans Will Love Samuel Eto’o’s Opinion On The Best Player in The World

Liverpool fans will love Samuel Eto’o after hearing his opinion on who is the best player in the world.

The former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea forward attended The Best awards in Milan last night.

He would have watched on as Lionel Messi picked up the best men’s player award – beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk.

But did Eto’o agree with that victory? While Messi is one of his former team-mates, the Cameroonian couldn’t see past Liverpool attackers Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah when asked before the show who he thought should win:

Mane and Salah weren’t even at the event as they weren’t shortlisted.

Both players were hugely influential as Liverpool won the Champions League last season and went so close to lifting the Premier League title.

They beat Tottenham in the final – weeks after losing out to Manchester City in the title race by one point.

Salah scored 27 goals for Liverpool last season while Mane got 26 goals.
