Scots captain Robertson and his team-mates went into the crucial Euro 2020 qualifier at Hampden knowing that, realistically, they needed all three points from the fixture to keep alive hopes of reaching next year’s competition via their qualifying group, and they got off to the perfect start when John McGinn opened the scoring early on.
