Video: Watch Mo Salah Absolutely Destroy Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly

Mo Salah further cemented his status as one of European football’s best attackers tonight by absolutely destroying one of Italian football’s most distinguished defenders.

Salah and his Liverpool team-mates travelled to Naples for this evening’s Champions League opener against Carlo Ancelotti’s free-flowing Napoli side, as the Reds look to defend the European crown won against Spurs on June 1.

And Jurgen Klopp’s men got off to a bright start, taking the game to their hosts in the opening stages, which led to Salah absolutely rinsing Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Metro, among other tabloids, has linked Koulibaly with a sensational £90 million move to Manchester United, but he certainly won’t be looking forward to facing Mo Salah again anytime soon:

We all know how quick and skilful Salah can be, but to simply knock over a player of that size and experience? Pretty remarkable, eh?

This season’s Champions League Final will be in Istanbul – but will Liverpool make it all the way to successfully defend their trophy?
