Wayne Rooney Comes Through For Wes Brown in FaceTime Challenge

Wayne Rooney produced the goods for Wes Brown in a FaceTime challenge on the Liquid Football podcast this week.

Brown was a guest alongside Wayne Bridge and Shaun Wright-Phillips in the JOE Football podcast presented by Kelly Cates.

And they all took part in a challenge to get a footballer in their phone book on FaceTime.

It was tough for all three to begin with as Bridge was ignored by Matt Le Tissier, Brown failed to get a response from Darren Fletcher and Wright-Phillips struggled to even get his brother Bradley on the phone.

But it all came good when Brown managed to get Rooney to pick up.

If you watch Rooney closely, he clearly doesn’t have a clue what’s going on – but it’s pretty funny still:

Fair play to Rooney for getting involved.

Brown played alongside the DC United striker during his time at Manchester United.

They actually won the Champions League together in 2008, with Brown assisting Cristiano Ronaldo for the United goal in the penalty shootout victory over Chelsea.
