Avid Arsenal Fan Piers Morgan Heaps Praise on Kieran Tierney

Lifelong Arsenal fan has heaped praise on Kieran Tierney, after the left-back made his first Premier League start for the North London club today.

Tierney, 22, has been gradually introduced to the Gunners’ first-team ever since his £25 million move from Celtic in the summer, as he recovered from a double hernia operation in June, but he was given the nod to start today’s clash at home to Crystal Palace.

Morgan, who is known to be as forthright in his opinions on his favourite team as he is as presenter of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, didn’t need much viewing before giving a pretty emphatic view of just how highly he rates Tierney:

Given this is his first outing in English top-flight football, do you think Morgan is justified in claiming Tierney is the ‘real deal’ or does the defender need a little more time to bed in?

What do you think?
