Steve Clarke’s men travelled to Moscow looking to restore some pride after two disappointing defeats in the last international break.
They lost 2-1 to Russia despite leading in the game and were then battered 4-0 by Belgium in the following match.
Those results ended Scotland’s Euro 2020 qualifying hopes from this group.
But there is still a chance to qualify through the Nations League play-offs next year.
If Clarke’s side are to do that, they’ll have to start performing better.

With that result, Scotland now sit second bottom of the group, with just six points from seven games.
They play San Marino on Sunday and should have enough to beat them before facing Cyprus and Kazakhstan in their final two games next month.
But Clarke has a big job on to improve things before then and take some optimism into the playoffs.
