The Hoops have been pretty reliant on the in-from Odsonne Edouard, who has 12 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions this season, and added to his tally against Aberdeen in Sunday’s 4-0 win at Pittodrie.
The club’s No9 Leigh Griffiths has struggled to regain his full fitness for much of the season, and is currently recovering from a thigh strain, and news of Bayo’s injury leaves Celtic short-handed when it comes to attacking options, as Lennon admitted this afternoon:
Celtic play St Mirren at home on Wednesday night, before facing Hibs in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup on Saturday evening, and then travelling to Rome for a Europa League re-match with Lazio on Thursday week.
What other options do you think Lennon could consider deploying in attack?
And do you think a lack of options up-front could eventually cost Celtic in the coming weeks?
