Neil Lennon had some high praise for his Celtic players after their 6-0 hammering of Ross County.
The Hoops ran out very comfortable winners at Celtic Park this afternoon to regain their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
They lost that after losing to Livingston two weeks ago – on the same day Rangers hammered Hamilton to go top.
But they produced a much better performance today to fire six past The Staggies.
And Lennon was delighted with what he saw from his players:
Celtic got the win courtesy of doubles from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Odsonne Edouard as well as strikes from Callum McGregor and James Forrest – plus some brilliant individual performances, including Jeremie Frimpong’s second full appearance.
Now it’s over to Rangers, who play Hearts tomorrow at Tynecastle.
If they manage to beat the Jambos then they’ll go top of the Scottish Premiership again.
