Neil Lennon Pays Tribute to James Forrest As Celtic Winger Launches New Venture

Neil Lennon has paid tribute to James Forrest as the Celtic winger gets set to launch his autobiography.

The Hoops manager faced the media this morning following his side’s 2-0 Europa League victory over CFR Cluj last night.

He was also previewing the weekend’s encounter with Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday.

While talking about both, Lennon also spoke about Forrest, who is set to release his autobiography ‘Homegrown Hero’ on December 3rd.

It may be seen as a surprising decision by Forrest considering he’s only 28, hasn’t retired yet and lives his life outside football away from the public eye.

But it should be a good read for Hoops fans – and Lennon has praised Forrest after details about the book were released:

Forrest has been at Celtic since the age of 13 and has now made 358 appearances for the club in the 10 years he’s been a first team player.
