Partick Thistle’s Raffaele De Vita Among Lazio Fans at Celtic Park Last Night

Raffaele De Vita was among the Lazio supporters who took in the game at Celtic Park last night.

The Partick Thistle attacker – who is on loan from Scottish Premiership side Livingston – shared a picture from inside the stadium ahead of last night’s Europa League game between the sides.

He actually hails from Rome in Italy, but has been in Britain since 2014 after playing for Blackburn Rovers’ youth team.

De Vita has since played for Livi (twice), Swindon Town, Bradford City, Cheltenham, Ross County and now Partick Thistle.

So he’s well known in Scottish football due to those spells.

But even though it’s been 15 years since De Vita left Italy, he’s still a Lazio fan:

De Vita would have watched on as Lazio lost 2-1 to Celtic, despite leading 1-0 in the first half.

The Serie A side went ahead through Manuel Lazzari’s goal, but were pegged back by Ryan Christie’s equaliser.

And then it was up to Christopher Jullien to head home a late winner for Celtic and send Lazio home unhappy.
