James Tavernier Taking Serious Heat from Rangers Fans After Young Boys Loss

Rangers captain James Tavernier is taking some serious heat from his own club’s fans tonight following the Ibrox club’s Europa League defeat to Young Boys.

For much of the match, Steven Gerrard’s men looked to have the measure of their Swiss opponents, and Alfredo Morelos fired them 1-0 ahead just before half-time.

However, a tight second-half didn’t end well for the Gers, with Roger Assale equalising in the 50th minute, before Christian Fassnacht slammed the winner past Allan McGregor in the 91st – with Tavernier caught out defensively for both strikes.

The match ended in a 2-1 defeat for Rangers, in a game they should’ve taken at least a point from, and there’s no prizes for guessing who the finger is being pointed at on social media:

Do you think Tavernier was at fault for both goals, and could the right-back even be dropped by Steven Gerrard in the coming weeks?
