The Gers travelled to Switzerland for match-day two of their Europa League campaign, having beaten Dutch giants Feyenoord 1-0 at Ibrox two weeks ago, and Steven Gerrard’s side would’ve probably been content going into the half-time break at 0-0.
However, just before the 45-minute mark, an opportunity presented itself for Morelos, and the Colombian striker certainly didn’t waste it as he gave the helpless goalkeeper the eyes before coolly slotting the ball home.
That’s 14 goals now in 13 starts for Morelos in all competitions this season, and it could be a goal which ends up being absolutely crucial for Gerrard and Rangers in their quest to reach the Europa League knockout stages.
With Morelos in this kind of form, how far do you think the Ibrox side could go in this season’s competition?
