Video: Kieran Tierney Conjures Up Brilliant Assist for Arsenal Opener

Kieran Tierney is finally showing Arsenal fans what he’s capable of, after conjuring up a fantastic assist for the Gunners this evening.

Having undergone a double hernia operation in June, the Scotland full-back has started just one match for the North London side after completing his £25 million transfer from Celtic in the summer window, but now it appears he’s close to reaching his top level.

After impressing Gooners during last week’s 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup, Tierney was given the nod to start this evening’s Europa League tie at home to Standard Liege – and it didn’t take him long to set-up team-mate Gabriel Martinelli for the opening goal:

Of course, Tierney will be compared with compatriot Andy Robertson during his time in England, with both players being a left-back, but do you think he can reach the Liverpool defender’s levels during his stint at the Emirates?
