Video: Neil Lennon Praises ‘Outstanding’ Cluj Win and Singles Out ‘Fantastic’ Mohamed Elyounoussi

Neil Lennon has praised his ‘outstanding’ Celtic players following the 2-0 win over Cluj in the Europa League, and singled-out winger Mohamed Elyounoussi as ‘fantastic’.

The Hoops met the Romanian champions for the third time already this season, following their clash in the Champions League third-round qualifying stage, which Cluj won 5-4 on aggregate.

However, Lennon had his players fired-up for revenge from the kick-off tonight and it soon became apparent that there wasn’t going to be any repeat of August’s defeat, with Odsonne Edouard and Elyounoussi scoring either side of half-time.

The 2-0 victory leaves Celtic in a commanding position with four points after two matches and speaking to BT Sport after the full-time whistle, Lennon was understandably delighted with the display:

Celtic now face Lazio in crucial back-to-back ties, but how far do you think the Scottish champions can go in continental football this season?
