Video: Neil Lennon Reveals James Forrest was ‘Raging’ to be Substituted on Saturday

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has revealed winger James Forrest was ‘raging’ to be substituted during Saturday’s thumping 6-0 win over Ross County.

The Hoops returned to the top of the Premiership by hammering the Highlanders at Celtic Park, with Forrest grabbing his eighth goal of the campaign in the 55th minute.

With the score at 6-0, and with just over 10 minutes remaining, the 28-year-old was taken off by Lennon, along with team-mate Callum McGregor, with Marian Shved and Nir Bitton brought on for late cameos.

But despite getting on the score-sheet, Lennon has revealed that Forrest is so hungry for success this season that he wants to play ever single minute of every game:

The Celtic boss also went on to talk about the campaign as a whole, and other players in his squad, and you can watch the entire interview below:

Celtic play Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night in Glasgow, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Forrest will be in the starting line-up to face the Italian giants.

But what do you think of his attitude?
