Scott Tiffoney missed an unbelievable sitter he won’t want to see again as Livingston drew with Hibs last night.
The Livi striker was a 66th-minute substitute for his side’s visit to Easter Road.
At the time of his substitution, Livi led 2-1 – with Scott Allan pulling a goal back four minutes before after the visitors led 2-0 through goals from Stevie Lawless and Craig Sibbald.
Allan’s penalty may have worried Livi, but they had a golden opportunity to calm down when Tiffoney rounded Chris Maxwell and had the goal at his mercy.
Unfortunately for the striker, he got it all wrong:
Deary me.
Hibs ended up equalising through Martin Boyle in the 92nd minute to spare Paul Heckingbottom’s blushes.
For Livi, they will see it as a missed opportunity considering they led 2-0 and had Tiffoney’s chance to make it 3-1.
Instead, they got the draw and now sit sixth in the Scottish Premiership table.
