Video: Odsonne Edouard Scores Another Brace to Make it 8 in 4 for France Under-21s

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard continued his scintillating form for France Under-21s this evening by scoring his eighth goal in just his fourth appearance for Les Bleus.

The Hoops forward is enjoying the best start to a season in his entire career so far, with nine goals in 17 appearances for his club in all competitions.

As we told you last week, Edouard has continued that form into the international break, scoring twice in France’s 5-0 victory at home to Azerbaijan, and now he’s improved his goalscoring ratio even further.

As expected, the 21-year-old was given the nod to start tonight’s European qualifier against Slovakia – and he’d manage to bag yet another brace before the half-time break:

Edouard is still waiting for his first call-up to the senior France team – but could he be a dark horse to be included in the world champions’ squad for the European Championships next summer?
