Video: Rangers Midfielder Joe Aribo Scores for Nigeria Against Brazil

Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo continued to cement his place as a key player for both club and country this afternoon by scoring Nigeria’s opener against the mighty Brazil.

Aribo and the Super Eagles travelled to Southern Malaysia to take on the five-time world champions inside the Singapore National Stadium this afternoon for one of the international break’s more glamorous-looking friendly matches.

But despite the tie being nothing more than an exhibition bout, the Brazilians weren’t taking it lightly, with the likes of superstar Neymar, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino and legendary full-back Dani Alves all in the starting line-up.

They might’ve had the big names, but it was Gers star Aribo who opened the scoring after 35 minutes:

London-born Aribo was only handed his first cap for the Nigerians after completing his summer move to Glasgow, and it seems the 23-year-old hasn’t looked back since.

Do you think Aribo’s displays and opportunities at international level justify his move to the Scottish Premiership?
