Stevie Ray gave a brilliant interview following the biggest win of his UFC career against Michael Johnson.
The unranked Scottish lightweight faced the toughest test of his 30-fight career when he was matched with Johnson at UFC Singapore this afternoon.
The American is four years his senior and slightly more experience than Ray – who comes from Kirkcaldy – so went into the fight as favourite.

Not that it mattered though, as Ray produced a strong performance to win by majority decision.
Johnson looked visibly angry with the scorecard, but Ray didn’t care – he was absolutely delighted:
Now Ray will be hoping he can use this win to propel him to a fight against someone in the top 15 of the lightweight division.
And there are some serious opponents there.
Nurmagomedov is the champion of the division that also includes Conor McGregor, Poirier, Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone.
With any luck, Ray might be a fight or two away from one of those superstars.
