Steven Gerrard has criticised his players following Sunday’s 1-1 draw away to Hearts – admitting he was ‘really disappointed and frustrated’ with Rangers‘ start to the game.

The Ibrox side allowed bitter rivals Celtic to return to the top of the Premiership after only managing to take a point from Tynecastle this afternoon, but it could’ve been a whole lot worse if the Jambos had taken all of their early chances.

Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu slammed his header against the crossbar in the opening stages, before Ryotaro Meshino scored the opening goal.

Alfredo Morelos equalised with the Gers’ first shot on goal after 39 minutes but Gerrard was far from pleased with the display, as he explained the broadcasters BT Sports after the full-time whistle:

What do you think of Gerrard’s assessment of the match, and who do you think will win this season’s Premiership title?
