Why Picking Tom Rogic in Your Fantasy Football Team Makes a Lot of Sense

Why Picking Tom Rogic in Your Fantasy Football Team Makes a Lot of Sense

Tom Rogic could be in line for a return to the Celtic starting XI this weekend.

And that could be good news for any fans thinking about including him in their Ladbrokes Fantasy Football 11.

The Australian playmaker hasn’t played for the Hoops since the 5-0 beating of Partick Thistle in the League Cup at the end of last month.

That was just his third appearance of the season – and his only start too.

But Rogic could get an opportunity to really stake a claim to start regularly on Saturday when Celtic face Ross County at Parkhead.

And here’s why:

Christie’s Suspension

The number 10 position has been Ryan Christie’s to start the season, but his red card against Livingston means he misses the next two games through suspension. This gives an opportunity for someone else to fill in and potentially keep the position. Step forward Rogic.

Ntcham a ‘Doubt’

Olivier Ntcham could be a contender to play in Christie’s place too, but Neil Lennon confirmed today that the Frenchman is a doubt after rolling his ankle in training. Given there’s less than 24 hours until Celtic play, it’s unlikely Ntcham will recover – and that leaves the position free for Rogic.

His Price

At £14.3million, Rogic is a decent price for a new player pick up – and we expect that is as cheap as he’ll get this season now he’s back fit. Take advantage of his lack of games recently by adding him at that price.

Rogic is a Player

Forgetting everything else, Rogic is simply a quality player – capable of scoring and assisting in any game he plays.
