Brendan Rodgers Comments on Arsenal Job After Unai Emery Departure

Brendan Rodgers has commented on the Arsenal job after Unai Emery’s sacking.

The Leicester City manager faced the media this afternoon ahead of his side’s clash with Everton on Sunday.

And while he has plenty to focus on with the Foxes sitting second in the English Premier League table, Rodgers did find time to comment on today’s sacking of Emery at the Emirates.

Rodgers is among those being mentioned by supporters as a possible replacement for Emery in north London.

But what does the man himself think? He commented on the sacking during his press conference, but made no mention of any interest in moving to Arsenal:

Could Rodgers be that man Arsenal want to bring in? Some Celtic fans certainly think so.

Leicester currently sit second in the table, six places and 11 points above Arsenal, who have had a difficult time of it in all competitions this season.
