Jurgen Klopp Makes Himself Clear On Xherdan Shaqiri’s Liverpool Future

Jurgen Klopp has made himself clear on Xherdan Shaqiri’s future at Liverpool.

The Anfield manager faced the media this afternoon ahead of his side’s return to action after the international break.

They play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park tomorrow and will be desperate to continue their brilliant start to the season.

And while almost everything is positive at Anfield, there is still some discussion around Shaqiri and his future at the club.

He’s not played for Liverpool since the middle of September, missing the last five weeks due to injury.

But now that he’s back in training, Klopp has moved to clear up any question marks over the Swiss international’s future:

Now Shaqiri will have his sights firmly set on getting back into the Liverpool squad.

He’s played 34 times for the club since signing for the club in July last year, but only has six goals to his name.
