Neil Lennon Says Griffiths, Rogic & Johnston Could Face Motherwell and Promises January Investment

Neil Lennon has revealed three important first-team players could return to his squad for this weekend’s Premiership showdown with Motherwell – as well as vowing to further strengthen in the January transfer window.

The Celtic manager spoke to the media this afternoon after retuning home from Rome last night, off the back of beating Lazio to claim the club’s first-ever competitive win on Italian soil.

The 2-1 win over the Serie A giants ensured the Hoops progression to the Europa League knockout stages, and Lennon seems to still be savouring the moment:

And on this weekend’s game, Lennon has teased the return of Leigh Griffiths, Mikey Johnston and Tom Rogic:

How far do you think Celtic can progress in this season’s Europa League?

And what areas of the team do you think could use some strengthening when the winter transfer window eventually swings open?
