An image purporting to show Scotland‘s new home kit for 2020 has been leaked online – and the alleged new design is sure to divide the Tartan Army.
As we’ve told you previously, Scotland’s current home kit received a big thumbs up from supporters upon its release in early 2018, and now it’s just about time for Steve Clarke’s side to update their threads and pull on a fresh new look from manufacturers Adidas.
The picture below has been circulating on social media this evening, and shows the tradition navy blue body accompanied by a red and white trim on the sleeves, and a sort of fuzzy ring of dark hoops:
Of course, we don’t have this confirmed as the new Scotland kit yet but if this is indeed our new strip, it could be the shirt worn at our first major tournament since the 1998 World Cup in France – if Clarke and his players can negotiate their way through the tricky-looking Nations League playoffs in March.
