Steven Gerrard Gives Ryan Jack Rave Review For Performance in Scotland Win Over Kazakhstan

Steven Gerrard has given Ryan Jack a rave review for his performance in Scotland’s victory over Kazakhstan.

The Rangers midfielder finally got his chance to make an impact in the national team when Steve Clarke started him against Cyprus last week.

He looked comfortable as the Scottish side ran out 2-1 winners in Nicosia.

And he did enough to keep his place against Kazakhstan on Tuesday night, turning in an even better display in a 3-1 win.

Gerrard was obviously watching both Scotland games and he singled out Jack for praise while speaking to the media this morning.

The Gers manager was there to preview his side’s clash with Hamilton this weekend, but reserved some time for Jack:

You have to agree with Gerrard after seeing Jack in both games – and the fact Scotland won both matches.

Now all attention has turned to March’s Nations League play-offs for Scotland and Jack should have done enough to merit a starting spot for at least the semi-final.
