Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Kristijan Lovric from Croatian side Gorica.
According to Richard Wilson, who covers Croation football, claims the Hoops were in Croatia on Wednesday scouting the winger.
He’s a 23-year-old wideman who has played for Bela Krajina, Kustosija, Lokomotiva, Lucko and now Gorica in his career.
And it’s at Gorica that he appears to be showing his best form.
It was only weeks ago that Lovric scored a brilliant hat-trick against Varazdin in the league.
This should definitely interest Hoops fans:
Lovric actually has seven goals in 12 games for Gorica this season, including strikes against Hajduk Split, Dinamo Zagreb and Osijek.
If he continues that sort of strong form then you wouldn’t be surprised to see Lovric force his way into the Croatian national team setup sooner rather than later.
And a move to Celtic would come at a good time in his career as he enters what should be his peak years.
