Video: Ex-Celt Filip Benkovic Looks Like a Monster in Leicester City Training

Filip Benkovic looks like an absolute monster in Leicester City training right now.

The Croatian centre back has yet to appear for the Foxes first team this season, instead turning out for the club’s Under 21 team.

A loan away from the King Power Stadium in January makes most sense.

And you’d have to assume that plenty will be interested in signing the centre half, who spent last season on loan at Celtic.

Benkovic shared a video on Instagram yesterday showing some of his recent training ground highlights.

And it’s fair to say he’s enjoying himself despite the lack of first team football:

Benkovic played 29 times for Celtic last season as they won another domestic treble.

Would he actually be welcomed back at Celtic in January?

Christopher Jullien was signed by the Hoops in the summer and has forged a formidable partnership with Kristoffer Ajer so far this season.

But if one of those players was to get injured, who would fill in for Celtic? Perhaps adding a reinforcement like Benkovic could be a good idea.
