Video: Gerrard Insists He’s ‘100% Sure’ Alfredo Morelos Won’t Be Sold in January

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has emphatically insisted his star player Alfredo Morelos won’t be sold during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old Colombian international striker smashed home his 19th and 20th goals of the season this afternoon to help guide the Ibrox side past a sorry Hearts side at Hampden, and will now face arch rivals Celtic in the Betfred cup Final on December 8.

Filip Helander’s opening goal, combined with Morelos’s double, sealed a 3-0 victory, and with the January transfer window looming on the horizon, there’s bound to be some interest in Rangers’ top-goalscorer – but it seems his manager simply won’t entertain any bids of any kind:

According to the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa are interested in bringing Morelos to the English Premier League, but it certainly sounds as though it’ll take a pretty crazy bid for the Gers hierarchy to even entertain it.
