Video: Mohamed Elyounoussi Scores Celtic Opener From Great James Forrest Assist

Mohamed Elyounoussi scored Celtic’s opening goal against Hibs thanks to a great assist from James Forrest.

The Norwegian winger has been in strong form since signing on loan from Southampton at the end of the summer transfer window.

Going into today’s game, Elyounoussi had five goals in nine games for Neil Lennon’s side – including strikes in his last two matches.

And he made it six goals in 10 appearances with an early opener in today’s Betfred Cup semi-final.

It’s a great finish, but an even better assist from Forrest:

How good is that from Forrest?

Celtic were 2-0 up shortly after when Callum McGregor finished from Odsonne Edouard’s pass across goal.

Hibs have pulled a goal back though – with Melker Hallberg finishing after some confusion in the Hoops defence.
