Video: Neil Lennon Says Lazio Win is Second Only to Barcelona Triumph

Celtic carved out a slice of club history in Rome tonight – and Neil Lennon crowned the victory over Lazio his second-greatest achievement behind the famous win against Barcelona.

The Hoops qualified for the Europa League group stages with two games to spare after goals from James Forrest and Olivier Ntcham sealed a deserved 2-1 win inside the Stadio Olimpico – and left the Serie A giants contemplating an early European exit.

Despite beating Lazio by the same scoreline in Glasgow a fortnight ago, Celtic were far from favourites for tonight’s clash, with the Scottish champions having failed to win any of the 12 previous competitive matches in Italy.

And perhaps that’s part of the reason why it means so much to Neil Lennon:
