Video: Ryan Christie Scores Beautiful Scotland Opener

Ryan Christie scored a beautiful Scotland opener against Cyprus.

The Celtic midfielder started off the right wing for Steve Clarke’s men as they take on Cyprus in Nicosia.

He hasn’t been used there as much for Neil Lennon this season, with the Hoops boss preferring him in the number 10 role.

But Christie looks like he could be a real threat for Scotland from that position – as he showed with the opening goal of the game in Cyprus.

Cutting in on his strong left foot, Christie curled a beautiful strike into the top corner to make it 1-0 Scotland:

How good is that from Christie?

He’s now got 13 goals in 29 total appearances for club and country this season – and is well en route to his best season ever.
