Wolves Fans Troll Arsenal Supporters With Song About Granit Xhaka

Wolves fans trolled Arsenal supporters this afternoon with a song about Granit Xhaka.

The Switzerland midfielder sparked headlines last weekend when he gestured towards his own support as he was substituted off an hour into their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

That led to a lot of criticism of the Gunners skipper and him missing out on both the midweek Carabao Cup clash with Liverpool and today’s 1-1 draw with Wolves at the Emirates.

It’s not been confirmed when he’ll get back into Unai Emery’s squad, despite him apologising via social media.

Wolves fans were obviously paying attention – and chose to troll the Arsenal supporters over Xhaka.

Per Evening Standard’s James Olley:

Fair play to them for the creativity.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for Arsenal early on this afternoon, but they were pegged back through Raul Jimenez for the visitors.

And that’s how the game ended – making for another frustrating afternoon for the Gunners supporters.
