Celtic Fans Insist Fraser Forster is ‘World Class’ After Heroic Display Against Rangers

Fraser Forster put in one of the greatest displays of his career in the 1-0 victory over Rangers this afternoon – and Celtic supporters are claiming the Hoops goalie is nothing short of world class.

The England international was between the sticks for Neil Lennon’s side in the Betfred Cup Final at Hampden, and he needed to be at his very best to keep Steven Gerrard and his in-form Gers team at bay.

Indeed, Rangers dominated the contest for vast periods, with Forster making several key stops to deny Alfredo Morelos, with the crucial moment of the game coming on 64 minutes, when the Colombian striker saw his penalty kick brilliantly stopped by the towering keeper.

It really was an unbelievable display by Forster, and fans reckon he deserves global recognition for it:

Forster, of course, is only on-loan from Southampton until the end of the current campaign, but surely Lennon and Celtic’s money men should break the bank to make sure he returns on a permanent deal, eh?
