Celtic’s Green Brigade Unveil Banner Telling ‘Tory’ Rod Stewart to ‘F*** Off’

Celtic supporters hit-out at one of their own this afternoon by telling lifelong fan Rod Stewart to ‘fuck off’ during today’s Premiership match with Hibernian.

The Hoops kept their Premiership defence on track this afternoon by beating Jack Ross’s men 2-0 at Celtic Park but, arguably, the most eye-catching moment of the game was the banner unfurled by the Green Brigade directed at Stewart – who was thought to be in attendance.

Following Thursday’s crushing General Election win for the Conservative Party and Boris Johnson, Stewart tweeted a congratulatory message to the Tory leader, and it obviously hasn’t gone down well with some of his fellow Bhoys fans:

There’s absolutely no doubting Stewart’s Celtic-supporting credentials, with the crooner in attendance at most matches, regardless of his hectic schedule and rock-and-roll lifestyle.

So what do you think of the stick he’s taken today? Does he deserve it, and should politics even be mentioned inside a football ground?
