Gareth Bale Comments On Jose Mourinho Could Excite Tottenham Fans

Gareth Bale’s recent comments on Jose Mourinho could excite Tottenham supporters.

The Real Madrid attacker continues to be linked with moves away from the club and hasn’t been a popular figure at the club over the last 18 months.

Bale has a contract up until 2022, but everything points towards him leaving the club sooner rather than later.

And could a return to Tottenham be on the cards. Bale spoke recently about Mourinho’s appointment at his former club and that could have some reading between the lines about his future.

Speaking to BT Sport, per football.london, Bale said: “Having [Jose] Mourinho there is an amazing statement from the club, I think he’s a serial winner.

“Tottenham want to win trophies and I don’t think there’s a better partnership than Mourinho and Tottenham together to try and win some trophies.”

So could Bale be thrown into the mix?

Tottenham have a number of quality options in attack, including Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura and Christian Eriksen.

Bale left Spurs for Real Madrid back in 2013 and has scored 104 goals in 241 games for the Spanish giants since then.
