Moussa Dembele Aims Dig at Rangers on Twitter After Celtic’s Cup Final Triumph

Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has taken a thinly-veiled dig at Rangers following the Hoops’ Betfred Cup triumph this afternoon.

A Fraser Forster-inspired display saw Neil Lennon’s Bhoys edge out their bitter rivals 1-0 at Hampden, with Alfredo Morelos missing several gilt-edged chances – including a penalty-kick.

Dembele was no stranger to lifting trophies during his two-year spell as a Celtic player, and it seems he still enjoys rubbing Rangers supporters’ noses in it, as his latest post on Twitter shows:

The Β£20 million forward now plays for Ligue 1 giants Lyon, and is a crucial first-team player for the Ligue 1 side, with his displays seeing him linked with a move to Manchester United recently.

But he clearly still has an affection for Celtic and keeps a close eye on their results – so could he perhaps return to the Glasgow club one day in the future for a second spell in green and white?
