Rangers go into Sunday’s Betfred Cup Final hoping to win and end Celtic‘s domestic dominance over the past three years.
The Hoops are the reigning champions and have won six of the last six domestic Cup finals on offer.
But Rangers are as strong as they ever have been and Steven Gerrard has some quality options at his disposal.
Here, we predict who Rangers will start with in Sunday’s game:

There are more murmurs of discontent among Rangers fans when it comes to the centre back pairing in Gerrard’s team. Both struggled in the midweek 2-2 draw with Aberdeen and Nikola Katic’s presence in reserve is something many supporters want to change? But is Gerrard about to drop one of his two regulars for Katic in such a big game? We doubt it.

Rangers’ success against Celtic last season came with three combative midfielders in the team. We understand there were criticisms of Gerrard’s selection in the first meeting between the sides this season as he played with five central midfielders across his midfield, but that should be different this time. We expect Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara and Steven Davis to be three Sunday.

Rangers aren’t stacked at right wing, with only Scott Arfield a real potential alternative on Sunday. Of course, Brandon Barker or Greg Stewart could play there, but we doubt it. Ojo will likely get the nod as he was on the bench midweek so should be fresh for this – and he has the pace that could trouble Celtic at left back if Jonny Hayes or Boli Bolingoli aren’t passed fit to play.
