Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster underlined his importance to the Hoops’ cause during this afternoon’s Betfred Cup Final against Rangers – by pulling off a stunning one-handed save.

Neil Lennon’s men went into today’s showdown with their bitter rivals at Hampden looking to win their tenth consecutive domestic trophy, but it was Steven Gerrard’s side who enjoyed the best of the opening stages at the national stadium.

With Odsonne Edouard only fit enough for a spot on the bench, Celtic struggled to get out of their own half in the opening half-hour, and that allowed Rangers to create several decent chances – one of which was a long-distance effort from Jack.

The Scotland international smashed a right-footed drive towards Celtic’s top-corner, and it looked destined for the back of the net until Forster somehow clawed it away:

The England international has been in pretty sensational form since returning to Celtic Park on-loan from Southampton in the last transfer window, but what do you make of his stop today?
