Jurgen Klopp had a brilliant reaction to Virgil van Dijk making a mistake in Liverpool’s win over Watford.

It was a straightforward afternoon for the English Premier League leaders as they won 2-0 at Anfield.

That was thanks to two moments of genius from Mohamed Salah – the Egyptian curling a beautiful strike into the top corner in the first half before scoring a backheel late in the second half.

But there were some nervy moments for Liverpool as they struggled to break down a stubborn Watford side at times.

And there was the dodgy moment when van Dijk almost passed beyond Alisson Becker into his own goal in the second half.

That caused a little bit of panic among the Liverpool support – and Klopp also felt the effects:

Brilliant.

Fortunately for van Dijk, the ball passed Becker, but went off the park for a Watford corner.

And Liverpool saw out the game to move 11 points clear at the top of the English Premier League table.
