Manchester City‘s preparations for tonight’s Premier League clash with Burnley was plunged into chaos after the power was cut to their dressing room before kick-off.

Pep Guardiola’s men travelled to Turf Moor looking to stay in touch with league leaders Liverpool, with the hosts currently sitting in a respectable 11th position before kick-off.

Any seasoned Premier League boss knows that a trip to play Sean Dyche’s men is never a walk in the park, but Pep and his gaggle of superstars probably weren’t expecting to have the lights turned out as they were trying to change.

Thankfully, new broadcasters Amazon Prime were on-hand to provide some much-needed assistance:

The drama didn’t seem to put City’s players off at all, with Gabriel Jesus scoring either side of half-time to fire his side 2-0 ahead at the time this article was published.

They’ve been involved in English football for all of five minutes and Amazon are already making friends, eh?
