Celtic fans will love seeing the moment Neil Lennon told his players they have Monday off.
The Hoops retained their Betfred Cup trophy with a tight 1-0 victory over rivals Rangers at Hampden Park.
They didn’t play well, having to defend against a dominant Rangers side for much of the game.
And they got their one big moment in front of goal when Christopher Jullien turned home Ryan Christie’s free-kick.
After that, it was a strong defensive display with 10 men as Jeremie Frimpong had been sent off for bringing Alfredo Morelos down in the box.
Today’s win makes it 10 trophies on the bounce for Celtic.
So you can understand Lennon giving them Monday off to enjoy it:
That news went down well!
Celtic next play on Thursday when they travel to Cluj for their final Europa League group game.
With their place in the Europa League last 32 already assured, Celtic will likely play a very different team for that game – allowing more of Lennon’s star men to relax after a tough day.
