Video: Scott Brown Calls Celtic’s Copenhagen Europa League Draw ‘Good For Us’

Celtic captain Scott Brown has admitted he’s pleased with his side’s Europa League draw against Copenhagen – but insists their focus is purely on Premiership affairs until February.

The Hoops were paired with their Danish counterparts in yesterday’s draw for the last-32 of the competition, after winning a group section containing Rennes, Lazio and CFR Cluj.

Copenhagen are currently seven points off the pace in the Danish Super League behind FC Midtjylland – who were hammered 7-3 on aggregate by Rangers in the competition’s qualifying rounds.

The tie is still some way off, but it’s fair to say Brown seems pretty content with facing Ståle Solbakken’s side when it comes around:

Celtic have made it to the Europa League knockout stages for the third season running now, having lost to Valencia and Zenit in the last two campaigns – but could this be the year that Neil Lennon’s men finally make a significant dent in the Europa League?
