Video: Steven Gerrard Hits Out at Doubters After Rangers Beat Hibs

Steven Gerrard has his out at doubters of his Rangers team after they beat Hibs tonight.

The Ibrox manager led his side to a very comfortable 3-0 victory at Easter Road, with Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo and Jermain Defoe getting the goals.

With Celtic’s win over Hearts in midweek taking them five points clear at the top of the Premiership table, the pressure was on Rangers to answer back with their game in hand.

The fact Alfredo Morelos was missing due to suspension just added to that for some.

But there were no issues as Rangers ran out 3-0 victors – and that cuts Celtic’s lead at the top back to two points ahead of their home game against Aberdeen tomorrow.

According to Gerrard, Rangers’ doubters were ready with their headlines if Hibs had managed to get a point or all three against them.

But their strong performance made sure that didn’t happen:

It was a very comprehensive display from Rangers as they brushed aside a Hibs team who went down to 10 men on the hour mark after Ryan Porteous was red carded.

They play Kilmarnock on Boxing Day before facing rivals Celtic at Celtic Park before the winter break.
